Twenty-four lanterns were made to be used by the chorus of Freemasons. Sides were made from acrylic panels, CNC cut, which had a brick pattern applied to them with glass frosting spray paint. Once frosted, each panel was placed in a jig, where the edges were adhered together with acrylic adhesive, then reinforced with clear silicone. A bottom of 3/4" plywood was attached via screws. A threaded eye bolt attached to a ring was attached to the top of the pyramid via a bolt secured on the interior of the lantern. The lantern was lit with two tea lights, accessible via a door in the 3/4" plywood. The lamps were turned on and off offstage.
