This is a copy of the stool that is found in Room 306 of the Lorraine Motel, the room where Martin Luther King, Jr. spent his last night. It was MIG welded out of 16 gauge steel and 3/16" steel rod. The top cushion was made out of a 2" piece of upholstery foam, covered in cotton batting, upholstered in white vinyl.
